I believe that Hitler lost the war. Hitler lost the war in the Ukraine when he went about taking large grain supplies and sending it back to Germany. if he had of treated the people of the Ukraine with respect and dignity, he may have gained support throghout many of the soviet union sub states which could have lead to hatred of the soviets and love for their saviours as the soviets had been opressing them for years. These sub states could have then raised their own armies seperate from the germans and worked together to bring down the soviet union.

Hitler - like Napolean before him - lost the war primarily because of the impossibility keeping control over the whole of Europe with manpower coming primarily from one country. The losses in Russia, refusal by Hitler to allow Germans to retreat when it was obvious they couldn't win, and after the bombing of Pearl Harbour the entry of the Americans was the final knock out blow.

Hitler's allies lost the war. The Japanese and Italians didn't help the German's objectives in conquering Russia. The Romanian's and Hungarian's also failed on the German flanks in Stalingrad. Unlike the Allies, The Axis powers didn't coordinate their war efforts.
